A: Determining which OFF!® repellent is right for your child depends on how old your child is. Age affects which formula you can choose and how many applications you can apply each day. If you are looking for a DEET-based repellent to use on a child, here are some important guidelines to consider from Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency. 6 Months - 2 Years: Only use products that contain 10% DEET or less, 1 application per day may be considered in situations where a high risk of complications from insect bites exist and we recommend a skin patch test prior to using. 2 Years - 12 Years: Only use products that contain 10% DEET or less, do not apply more than three times per day, use according to label directions and we recommend a skin patch test prior to using.
