Worked well for a reasonably priced puller

I used this to pull a pitman on my 1967 Plymouth Satellite, one that had likely been on there for more than 25 years. I cleaned the connection thoroughly and sprayed it with PB Blaster a couple of times to dissolve any rust. I used a 1/2" drive ratchet with a 24" bar for extra leverage. Because several commenters mentioned that their pitman arm puller jaws broke or bent, I took my time and torqued ratchet as much as I could, waited a few minutes then torqued it a bit more and waited again. Slowly it started to move so I kept doing this, waiting a few minutes each time, until it was free. No damage to the puller or spreading of the jaws.

Pitman atm puller works good.

Puller worked well. Took my pitman arm off my 69 Cougar steering box thats been attached since new. Grease up the threads good and it works smoothly.

Used it to take off a ball joint and that flattened the point on the bolt, then when I tried the other side, the arm broke on the tool, not impressed. Even had it not broke, I might have got one or two more uses out of it because the threads were starting to fail on the bolt.
