bright bulb

Does what a bulb is supposed to do -- banish the darkness. It is nice to be able to shed light on things again. I needed this bulb for a seldom used floor lamp that is on its original bulb and is probably close to 30 years old. Thankfully, I can count on Canadian Tire to stock what I need at a reasonable price.

Gosh, these halogen bulbs are bright. After using LEDs for so many years I had to replace a halogen bulb in a portable spot light thingin. I'm so glad that there's a cage around the front of the light. They get so hot and bright. But darn...they do provide great useful illumination in my creepy crawlspace of a basement.
