Super quiet and smooth riding tires!

The SUV originally came with factory Hankook Kinergy GT tires, which were phoneomical for fuel economy (5.7L/100kms on the highway, installed on my Hyundai Venue SUV) and also very quiet and smooth. I wanted to go a size up, yet maintain the same tread. The Kinergys were sold out at the time (2 months ago), so I searched and searched, and found these on the Canadian Tire website; the tread is pretty much identical to the Kinergys, but at nearly half the price. It saved me nearly $90 PER TIRE. Anyway, they were ok for ride at first, but as with all new tires, you should allow up to 1000kms for a break-in period... after just a few hundred kilometres... whoa. These are the smoothest, quiest tires I have ever owned (even quieter than the Kinergys) and identical for fuel economy. It's a shame they have been overlooked for at least 4 years as that's when the last review was done. So in conclusion, if a quiet, smooth ride with excellent fuel economy are your preference - get these. And they look sharp, too, with the sidewalls treated with Armor All. Have not really tested them in winter conditions, as I bought them in mid-February, but realistically if you live in an area that gets mounts of snow in winter, you may want a dedicated winter tire.
  • All shined up with Armour All

The same again

I replaced the tires on my 2011 Kia Optima EX Luxury. The OEM tire were the same Nexen tires, I was so pleased with them, when I found replacements at CTC at an excellent price I could not pass up the deal. My original tires had 85000 km and would probably have lasted another 15000 before becoming illegal, I drive in Southern Ontario, have experienced several winters and never felt the need for winter tires, I do spend part of the winter in Florida, but have experienced many drives to both Ottawa and Barrie in true winter conditions.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Everything Tire

I am just replacing these(in 2016) tires now on my 2011 Optima. These are factory tires and I drove them over 100,000 Kms. They still have some life left! Smooth, good traction wet and dry. These are the lowest price tires I can find in Canada and I cannot believe that they have, by far, performed the best for daily driving of any tire I have ever owned.

Yes, I recommend this product.

50,000km of aggressive driving = excellent value

These tires come stock on my Kia Optima SX Turbo. I found that they handled really well in the wet and had excellent traction in summer. Their snow performance was not great. But living in Vancouver we don't get snow of any consequence. For the price and mileage achieved I highly recommend. I believe that they are rated at 440 on the tire wear scale. If you don't drive your car like it's stolen (like I do) then I suspect that these tires would last closer to 70,000 km.

Yes, I recommend this product.
