Lights don't fit in 5+ year old Sterling trailers.

I bought these to replace the brake lights on a Sterling 5x7 trailer that was about 5 years old. The rubber grommet around the new light does not fit a Sterling trailer correctly, and the light itself will not fit inside the old grommet.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I have a 4x6 Stirling utility trailer which uses conventional lights with a 3 pronged plug. One of the tail lights is not working (probably burned out). Can I use this light as a "plug&play" replacement without any modification?

A: It turned out that one of the wires was bad--not the light, but I bought a pair of these anyway. The trailer's plug didn't smoothly plug into these. I had to force myself to shed the frustration and it finally went in. Also the new grommet was slightly smaller than what came with the trailer. It was so loose fitting that I put these new lights in the old grommets for a nice tight fit. The lights look awesome though.
