Disappointed with Mileage

For traction and water dispersing, they were very good. But these 45,000 mile warranty tires made it only 20,000 miles with very little tread depth remaining. Dealer doing routine maintenance made us sign a waiver to ignore their recommendation to change the tires.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is the Michilin Pilot Sport rated as a winter tire in Canada? I have a 2012 KIA Sportage 4 wheel drive is this good for my SUV?

2 Answers
  • A: No. In Canada you should be running a designated winter tire, not all season's. Go with General Altimax's for winter. Good tire, decent price, and get them mounted on a second set of rims

Q: Is this a directional tire? Wondering if this tire can be rotated through all four corners of the car - or can they only be mounted in one direction?

1 Answer
  • A: The tire is not directional. The vendor has advised that 208-5700 can be mounted to any of the four points on the vehicle as it is asymmetrical tread.
