No a/c adapter

Says in manual that an a/c adapter is supplied. No adapter was. How is this supposed to charge?

One of two ordered didn't work

Product didn't work wouldn't recognize that it was hooked up to a power source. Returned item to store and reordered. This is my second one. First item works great. No problem whatsoever. Great product as long as it works when you take it out of the box.

Battery is not with it.

Only used it once and now the battery won’t charge. I thought it may be the fuse so I replaced it. It still didn’t work.

Q: Do they need to be replaced? Mine stopped charging fully (blue LED flashes rapidly while white LED flashes slowly) and therefore does not open the garage door when there’s a power failure.

A: Sometimes they do need to be replaced. Unfortunately our local Canadian Tire only stocks the whole assembly (case, light, battery, hanger, etc. for around $100) but not just the actual battery. The battery itself is not too expensive - less than $40 on-line, and is standard - it's a 6-FM-5, 12Volt UPS battery. I did have to trim the negative (black wire) tab on the battery I got to fit the black terminal in the case, but that only took a few minutes. Works like new again!

A: As long as the battery is connected to the garage door opener motor and plugged in, it will charge on standby mode. when I unplugged the battery after charging it up and then plugged it in a week later it needed to be charged again.

A: No, this battery is for the Mastercraft openers only; it has a special connector that plugs into the Mastercraft openers. The Liftmaster have an internal battery.
