This product is awesome, got it at 170$ at Black friday. I read and dont understand the complaint? I had a old 1991 sears door opener and change it for this one. Its true the door open a bit slower but i mean I dont care it take 1-3 sec more. I dont use ths wifi but the rest work perfectly, I could attach it to my old door without any problem. Its hard to come up with a complain here. The light is not to bright and easy to access.

Works great and quiet

Bought this a week ago and had it installed by Penninsula Door Service. They put a door brace on so in case of door spring breaks saves the door attachment. Its quieter than other door which is belt drive.
All the pieces there and key pad, wall pad and car fob wifi worked.

Weak Opener

This garage door opener works but is weak. Compared to my 20 year old Genie on the door next to it. Motor sounds like it is struggling to lift and close the door. The wifi Noma app didn't work. I tried on multiple devices without any operation. Customer service was unable to help with the issue and wished me luck. I did pick this unit up on sale and wonder if that is the reason for the sale price? Overall the unit works, but is very cheap quality and I certainly do not expect it to last very long. Should have spent more money for a better unit.

A: I had no problems with sensors. Alignment to each other is critical as well as inserting wires at the unit. Did have a issue in setting pressure on reversing door. I called and problem solved. Good luck.

A: Yes, but it took 3 openers to get one that worked. The manufacturer kept sending new ones. At least they didn't stop trying to help. The working one is on a 10' x 10' door and handles it with ease.

Q: Why does the opener beep every 10 seconds when using the self closing mode? Also why isn't it compatible with my built in remote on my car, I had a 25 year old opener that would do this but not this one?

A: When the opener is in Auto Close Timer mode, there needs to be a notification to the occupants inside the garage that the door will be closing, safety issue. You can disable the beep by pressing the wall button one time only to disable the beep. The door will not Auto Close now, so if you want to close you need to press the wall button again. Please contact our support for car programming (1-800-689-9928)

A: That depends on the weight of the door. If it is an old wooden door then I wouldn't use it. If it's a newer aluminum door then I would chance it. I would, in my opinion, spend a little extra money and get a 3/4 horsepower opener

Q: My door is 90" tall..light but tall...will this do ..or extra rails etc?

A: The rail included with the opener is for a 7’ (84”) high door, but it will do 3”-5” more, in your case you may have a slight showing of the bottom panel when the door is open. The extension rail is recommended, but you may get away without it. Please contact the support team and we will help to answer in more detail.
