On Used Car - 70,000km still lots of tread

a year ago

Just bought a used 2017 Sonic LT and the tires looked new. Looked at the year stamp and they were 1017, meaning Oct 2017, so original to the car. The car has 70,000 km on it. The tread is at 7/32. Seem to be good for an OEM tire.

I bought these Hankook Optima tires in St Stephen NB , there are only 40,000 kms on them in a little over a year and a half and they need replacement already -----not worth buying
