We bought two. While one stays up np the other doesn't seem to get quite tight enough These are great if you don't want to drill holes in your walls. They served their purpose and worked well but now one won't stay and can't find a replacement. We've had them for 5 yrs.

I bought this thing to hang some curtains up in my basement and it's the worst curtain rod I've ever used. It barely holds itself up without any curtains, and immediately falls after putting the curtains on. It doesn't tighten nearly enough. It also feels very cheap like a knock-off. Avoid this thing at all cost.

Q: The text says that the rod and bracket sit inside the window frame, by tension, whereas the photo shows a rod and bracket outside the window frame and showing a non-tension rod. Which is it?

A: I think these are corner brackets and look like the regular rods because of the angle in which the picture was taken from
