With the option to operate as a dehumidifier and fan, this portable air conditioner provides year-round functionality. Use the remote control for easy operation. Bought this AC for a very small trailer (5x10) it didn't cool off the area after several hours was quite disappointed, looks like i'm going to have to return the unit... the minimum temp ranges is 16 degrees... thats not that 'cool' our $30 fan works just as good as this, again at this price point kind of had higher hopes... was a decent size for what I needed just not effective at cooling anything down.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hook up was easy, directions were very well layed out. Adapters for windows were excellent. Works extremely well in my larger room. Quite happy with purchase. Cooled down room and took humidity out of air almost immediately. Well worth the money.

perfect for ~150 sqft room

This is a digitally controlled unit that I use in my bedroom. The digital system works like a charm and whatever temperature you set it holds. In addition the internal fan will come on by itself for a minute or so to filter and circulate the air every so often. Granted it does not have a HEPA filter, but it works! The air quality and temperature in the room remains constant. Perfect!
Installation is easy - do read the manual - and since I bought it with the triangle card the sale is registered under my account. It also has a one year warranty.
All in all well made machine and works great!
Service I received at the Peterborough store was excellent. My compliments to the staff!

A: Drainage is an iffy one. You got the option to plug a hose at the middle section, and a plug at the bottom section that can be equipped with a tube.

A: I don't know, probably. But I do know that I bought this last year and say it may not be the right purchase. I live in a small space, so I thought this would work well for me. It did, but only for about a month, then it died. Moisture in the motor I suspect. Got store credit for it and bought a portable AC. That's the way to go.

A: The unit does have a basin inside it, but unless you have a good place to drain it nearby, it can be a bit challenging to move the unit around, and the basin outlet is close to the floor so challenging to empty in place. I've taken to using the included hose to drain into a bucket, which is easier to carry to the bathroom to dump.
