Becomes clogged with bugs and mold.

Purchased in mid July. Removed in September. It is clogged full of dirt, mosquitoes and mold. I had to remove ever single screw and take the entire unit apart. So disgusting and hard to clean that I will throw it out.
It worked well for 1 month before ai started getting sick.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I have mine running on it's right side. I drilled a hole in the back corner so it drains from there. But it still drains from near the front so I guess this will not work. Not sure how long it takes for the compressor to "blow up"; is this true?

Q: Just bought this and getting a bunch of water build up inside the machine. It sounds like the fan is hitting the water. Is this normal?

A: Unit should be installed with rear slightly lower than front for drainage, but it's normal to have some water build up. It's designed that way to use the condensate water to help cool the coils.

A: Yes you can ! I have two of them , One in a sliding side to side and they other one on a window up to down! The sad part is you have to put a piece of plywood or plexiglass to cover the open area.

A: Not anymore noisier then other models... (never heard of a silent one). That in mind... This small unit can cool down a space in a short time & stay cool until you shut it off.
