Threaded tube too short

The light was beautiful and simple to install. However the threaded tubing was about 2" too short, which we didn't learn about until the fixtures were already up and our old fixtures were down. I had to go back to Canadian tire and have them give me free threaded tubing, as I still liked the lights and didn't want to go through the entire house and take 9 fixtures down, just because of a tubing that was too short. Seems to be a manufacturers defect, its too bad because they're beautiful fixtures, but not worth the hassle.

Easy to install and looks great

I purchased this to replace a bathroom light fixture. The unit assembled well and installed easily. The alabaster glass is of good quality and weight. The unit takes two bulbs and illuminates the room well. An easy retrofit and looks wonderful.

The light is 5 3/4" deep but the threaded mounting tube is only 4 3/4" long. Impossible for it to be assembled!

Q: I purchased 3 of these light fixtures and the threaded tube provided is too short. Is this a manufactures defect?

A: The length of the threaded tube is 125mm, 4.92in. It is possible that you may have screwed on the threaded tube upward too much, so that the height of the tube is not enough for the lower parts, such as hex nut, cap and finial. We suggest that screwing on the threaded tube to the level which is same with the ceiling plate, so that the tube can connect through all the parts together. See image attached.
