Evenflo GoTime Sport Highback Car Booster Seat

I bought this car seat for my daughter, who is old enough to graduate from her old strap in car seat. She likes the headrest, as she still naps while we drive. She was also set on having cup holders on her new chair, so this one is perfect! She was also pleased with the cool pattern on the liner. From my perspective it was easy to put together and simple to install as it doesn’t need to be secured to the car’s seat. It is just made of plastic, so quality wise it’s pretty average. After using it for about a month there are a couple of things I have noticed, nothing safety wise more so quality of life things. First is, while the headrest adjusts in height, it only goes up so far. I don’t think it will last my daughter until she can ride without a car seat. The back/headrest comes off, which is what I will eventually do but she might miss the headrest. It would probably be ok for most kids but if your children are taller than average I wouldn’t expect this to last (with the back/headrest attached) until they are ready to ride without a booster seat. The other issue I noticed is that the plastic clips that hold the fabric liner to the bottom/front of the seat popped off within days. While I don’t think the safety of the seat is compromised, there has to be a better way to attach the liner that allows it to be removed for cleaning but doesn’t pop off every time the occupant shifts in the seat. Overall I think it’s a good seat for the price. My daughter approves it, which is probably the most important thing. It has a lot of the features of the big bulky clip in seats while being light and easy to install. It does have some quality issues, but nothing that’s a deal breaker for the price. The biggest problem would be the possible longevity issue if you have tall kids. I also just found out this particular model has been replaced by another model. If you like the tall back booster seat maybe consider looking at the new one.

Terrible product, very cheap. Best to see products in store prior to purchase. We bought this online and were extremely disappointed. AND car seats can not be returned! However we contacted Evenflo and they were very good. They agreed to reimburse us.

If the car seat slanted more back the kids can sleep without folding their necks.
