Q: Does this product actually remove dust and particles? I'm not too concerned about fan/cooling etc.
6 years agoA: Hello Clifford, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson purifying fans feature a 360 degree HEPA filter which is designed to draw in air from all around the machine. As a result, Dyson Pure Cool can be used to purify the air in a room of any size. The bigger the room, the longer the unit will essentially take to purify. The filter included in the machine has been engineered to automatically remove 99.97% of pollutants and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. This will include things like mold, bacteria, odors, pollens, pet dander and potentially harmful ultra-fine particles. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

6 years agoA: Hi Linda, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great questions regarding the Dyson Pure Cool™ HEPA Air Purifier & Fan. Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control. I hope this helps! Q: how often do you need to change the filter? Does it only have one type of filter?
6 years agoA: Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool's filter will last for 4382 hours. If you were to run the machine 24 hours a day, the filter would last about 6 months, and you will get a year of use while running the machine 12 hours a day. This machine has a double-layer filter.
