Dupli-Color Perfect Match Paint too watery

The paint is too runny/watery. I have used other brands of spray paint and they all worked much better than the last one that I bought. I was told that I had to spray lightly many times but unfortunately it is hard to control the spray so that a very fine layer is applied. The paint just runs down the car and does not stick to the car body. So whether a thin film of paint does the job or not is still a mystery to me.
