My truck is a 2006 F150. I use this paint for touch ups . The colour match is perfect. I find you have to shake can continuously to get the medal flakes to stay suspended in the paint for a perfect match.

Pas aimé, alors là pas du tout... Il mérite 0 étoiles...
Sur la canette, c'est bien inscrit FINI LUSTRÉ...pourtant c'est totalement MAT, aucun lustre.
Le fini n'est pas "lisse" et les poussières y reste "pris".
Le seul et unique côté positif: l'eau perle dessus malgré tout.
Le capot de ma voiture est mat et tout le reste est lustré, c'est du n'importe quoi !!!

A: If you use paint underneath or prepare the existing paint it should provide decent protection from rust. After you’ve applied it just keep an eye on it that rust isn’t forming

Q: Can this be used on an outdoor metal table if cleaned first with alcohol? I have a drawing on it done in acrylics that has been sealed with workable fixatif.

A: I am not sure I would use this product for that purpose. Find a clear coat that has a UV protectant in it, otherwise your drawing will soon disappear. Car paints fade, however paints and markers fade faster.

Q: How can it be clear and a colour at the same time? Clear is transparent while colour is opaque. I thought I'd get a clear finish over my colour touchup paint, similar to putting clear polyurethane over a coloured stain on wood.... Is there such a thing?

A: yeah gas will eat the clear coat. you would need to get a good 2 part clear coat.

Q: I have a Toyota that ive put a small patch in . Body work turned out awesome for a " once every 10 year" body man . The Toyota yses a urethane clear coat. Are there any issues with using this laquer clear coat ? Thanks

A: The Perfect Match clear is not intended for interior applications. A polyurethane may be a a better product for interior counter tops. It is a durable clear coat however we do not have any testing when put under the use of a counter top.
