    Review For Turanza ER33

My Lexus IS350 has staggered sizes. The fronts wore out pretty bad on the inside edges of the tires. Forced to replace. However, the rear tires, although replaced when the fronts wore out, still had approx. 5/32nd" remaining. (after 25,500 miles!) If not for the cost, I would have bought these tires again. However, I'm bummed that I replaced the rears with about 50% tread life remaining.

These tires came OEM with my G35 and I really had no problems with them other than 30k miles tread life. I'm really surprised of the negative reviews these tires received. I live in Southern California so I guess these tires were perfect for the year round summer like weather . I didn't buy these tires for replacement because of the price and the negative reviews. < br>< br>< br>< br>Now the ride, these tires rode stiff and cornered really well and really complimented the sport suspension of my G35 just how I wanted them to feel. Even in So-Cal rains didn't notice hydroplaning or slipping they really performed well. I replaced these tires with All Season tires which rode a tad softer. I'll probably go back to these OEM tires when its time to buy again. Or look for a less expensivesummer performance tires, afterall I'm in Sunny So-Cal.

These were the OEM tires on the vehicle. To date they have gone 36500 miles, and there is still serviceable tread on them. I have kept them properly inflated and checked periodically for abnormalities. My driving can be relaxed to spirited, with some repeated long (driving full tank to empty tank with no stops) interstate stretches at hyper-legal speeds. Have observed tire pressures (viaTPMS) during high speed/high temperature travel, no problems noted. Some wet driving, rare driving on light snow with grit/salt on road, no problems whatsoever.

Have had these tires on my wifes car for 3.5 years. Great tire ! Think maybe it might just be Lexus eates tires.

I feel these tires were perfectly suited for the character of my wifes ES300-- this is in no way shape or form a "sporty" car and likewise these did not feel like "sporty" tires-- but I expected more life from tires living such a relaxed existence. I found the ride vs. handling compromise to be biased in favor ofride. They complained on the occasional spirited offramp, so I certainly wouldnt put these on my MX-5 but they worked well on the ES. The Turanza ER33s relatively low price (compared to similar products) has me considering them again, though Id pay more for similar performance and a longer lifespan from a more expensive tire.
