It is very easy to use. However my bedroom still smells stuffy in the morning. It doesn’t help that.

Works well but uses filters way too fast

Quiet and easy to set up. Attractive. However, the product states clearly that the filter should last (i.e., be changed) every 6 - 9 months. I bought this unit brand new from Canadian Tire and the filter lasted 40 days! Non-smoker, no pets, no home repairs, no nearby road construction, very light use of stove/oven (single person), in a small bedroom in a condo under 600 square feet with laminate floors equipped with an HVAC unit too. How is this possible? Either mine is simply defective, or the company is wrong about filter duration. At 40 days per filter, the cost would be excessive yearly, easily running into hundreds of dollars! I had a Medify-14 prior to this which I loved and used in the exact same space for 4 years changing filters only every 6 months . I still love that Medify but now have trouble getting filters for it in Canada. How can the Medify unit have worked so well, whereas this Blueair literally eats filters? I am not impressed and plan to return it. Sure, the noise level is fine, it's attractive, etc. and it does a good job when working. But it is ridiculously expensive in filters in the long run. I do NOT recommend this item.
