The compound stays flexible to grip the road surface, while the notched tread pattern offers extra biting edges for grip year round. The tread's grooves disperse water and slush, preventing hydroplaning and ensuring a safe driving experience. The tire's design and structure reduce road noise and vibrations felt in the cabin for higher comfort. The variable pitch tread decreases sound frequencies reaching the cabin, while the strengthened structure absorbs shock to minimize vibrations. This enhanced controllability, grip, and cornering ability give drivers better control overall, for safer driving. Yet the tire's lowered weight reduces rolling resistance to provide a more fuel efficient ride.
