    Product stopped working just out of warranty

    The digital timer worked for the first year. Less than a month out the manufacturer's warranty period, it has all of a sudden stopped turning on/off at the programmed times. The on/off "mode" works, but Auto (the mode to turn on and off according to the programmed times) no longer works.

    Works ok.... internal software logic is not great

    I used this all last summer to run my small 120v pool pump for 2 hours every night, worked great last year I don't recall any issues would have given it 5 starts! Internal battery lasted all winter awsome!, plug it in this year and adjust timer to stay on 2 hours longer then setting from last year and the thing just runs non stop now unless it's in the off position, found a random on timer set on program 6 so thought maybe that was the issue just turning it on but never off. Then found out the reset button resets all programs not just the one selected which is dumb. So reset clock, date, and my program and it still runs none stop....... woke upat 6 and pool pump had been on all night and day. After a 3rd reset and playing with timers onna bedroom light set to go on 2 mins in the future and 1 min after for test purposes I think I found that the unit is programed like an old analog style. If you set an on or off time after it's past that time on the clock it can't figure out what to do untill a full 24hours has surpassed and it comes back to that section in the internal logic... really dumb programing but does seem to be working again.

    Easy to use, and setup. We programmed the time for our Christmas lights, and has been working like clock work everyday! We can programme more times, but haven’t used that feature yet.

    Q: I'm concerned with those 6 buttons being exposed to the elements. Is there any protective feature to keep rain and snow from getting into the timer body?

    • A: I have used mine outdoors in some pretty harsh Canadian conditions - no issue whatsoever. I actually have used it year-round for Xmas lights in the winter and patio lights in the summer - this unit has been fully exposed to the elements and works like a charm!

    Q: Does this timer HAVE to have all 8 programs enabled, or will it work on just one? Cause I do own one of these and I only put in one, but doesn't seem it want's to turn on according to the times I put in it.

    Q: How do you REMOVE a program?? For example, let's say I set PROG 2 to go ON at 7:00AM and OFF at 8:00 AM on TUESDAY. How do I clear PROG 2 so that it stops. Ideally I want it to give me dashes ('-') again, as if it had never been set.

    Q: I programed 1 outlet to come on at 4pm and shutoff at 11pm every day & works fine The 2nd outlet timer to come on for my block heater at 5am till 8 am both outlets come on at same time on each program. Does this timer control outlet 1 or 2

    Q: Will this unit retain preset settings if removed from power outlet.

    • A: The timer will retain preset settings if removed from the power outlet. It has an internal backup battery to save all programming. Plug timer into a wall outlet for 30 minutes to charge the internal battery. Once screen display appears, timer is ready for programming.
