Works Great, But Beware of Instructions!

Love the quality of this product, but when I installed it to my copper pipes, it had a very small bit of water dripping out. I called into the customer support team and they asked if I had taken out the small plastic piece inside the fitting (to which I said "no"), as he recommends taking it out unless you are connecting it to a PEX piping system. After eventually retracting the teeth from the pipe by pushing the plastic ring, I did remove the piece and fit it back on. Now thankfully everything works well, and I installed the 2nd one I bought using this same method of removing the plastic piece inside and haven't had any issues thankfully. There should definitely be some sort of instructions with regards to that for future users.

Q: What size in fractions of an inch is the push n connect at the end. I know it is not going threw a half inch hole

A: Not sure off hand easy enough to measure or call CT and they can tell you the hole size required to install.Be sure to pick up the 1/2" release tool.
