Product Details

This quick connect straight valve from Waterline makes installing and maintaining plumbing lines easy. No tools are required for a leak-free connection - simply push the pipe into the fitting. The quarter turn shut off allows for convenient control of water flow. The fitting is approved by CSA and rated for pressures up to 250 PSI, so it's suitable for most residential and light commercial applications where a reliable straight valve is needed.

I was always a copper tubing with a torch and solder type of guy. After using this fitting I may be converted. The only reason I purchased this fitting is because I could not find the solder type fittings in the store. This fitting is quite a bit more expensive than the standard solder type fitting.

Q: For the push connect side, what is the outer diameter pipe size that it supports? 1/2 inch outer diameter? For example, I believe a 3/8 inch pipe has a 1/2 inch outer diameter.
