Find something better

Terrible. At first it was great but then overtime the camera stopped connecting to the parent unit. Then the second one did the same thing a week later. Wasn't even a year before this happened I reached out to vtech and hear nothing back

not worth the money

this was a waste of our money. we exchanged our first one because it would turn funky colours and do a weird horizontal split screen. now the second one is doing the exact same thing

Under Menu>Setting>Viewing Mode you can select 3 different view modes; Single Camera, Patrol, or Split Screen. It sounds like you have it set to split screen, which allows you to view both camera's simultaneously on the Parent Unit. I would suggest using Single or Patrol Mode (Patrol is single view but rotating back and forth). You can always change it again anytime you wish in the Menu. As for the "funky colors", I cannot say for certain, but it may be the nighttime infra red video, which in this model is Greyscale. If you wanted Full Color Night time video, that is a more expensive option, available on our RM and LF series monitors.

Q: Does it record? Are you able to back and look at the video the next day? I'm thinking of using it for home security...set them up in a couple of laneway facing windows. Sounds great if they can record.

Q: Are you able to pair more than 2 camers with it? If so, where would I find an additional camera? I'm also looking for an extra charging cord.

A: This model is limited to 2 cameras (max). For parts like A/C power cords, please email our customer service at customersupport@vtechcanada.com. Universal A/C adapters will work as well.
