It works

As advertised. My motorcycle's rear tire caught a nail at some point and I was left with a leak that rendered it flat in less than an hour after re-inflating. Was told a tow would set me back $150+ tax so I decided to give this a shot. I was a little hesitant once I saw the rating but after reading the negative reviews, I used it as one is supposed to and it got me to the shop. This is supposed to be a temporary thing, not a permanent fix. Took me about a minute to remove the nail and another 10s to put in the plug. Rode 25 kms after re-inflating my tire with no issues.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not as good as expected

Bought today after being told they worked perfectly. Put in a small plug and it still leaked. Changed to larger plug and still have a slow leak. I guess being miles away from anywhere they might be of help. I’m going to stick with conventional plugs. Ream glue and insert has always worked for me. Glue freezing in the winter is the only problem.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Stranded

This product simply didn’t work for me. The nail that was in the tire did a better job of sealing than the plastic screw. Threw the rest of the package in the trash

Saved me from a tow!

I got this kit some time ago as part of my car's emergency flat tools since we have no spare. The first time I tried it with a flat, it didn't work. The puncture I had was too big for the plugs and I had to use the traditional string plugs. This last weekend, I had another flat and this time the puncture was too small for the traditional string plugs and I couldn't make it bigger with the included rasps. I used this kit and it plugged it so I could drive 120km without losing any air. This was on a Tesla model X so its heavy 2.5 tonnes, with 20" tires and 45 PSI. So for the price, I recommend it! Keep it as an option in your car, depending on the flat you get, it can help. Definitely saved me from the cost of a tow this time! Much easier than a string plug.

Yes, I recommend this product.
