I tried this on a chimney pipe, to fix a screw hole .It did not work. It crumpled.JB weld better.

Wish I had a chance to use it

Ugh, I had high hopes for this product. Bought one, open it at home, hard as a rock. Retuned to store, got a second one, also hard as a rock. Didn’t bother trying a third one, it was same lot number as the other 2 rocks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How does it handle expansion and contracting of a exhaust manifold?

A: This product isn’t designed for high heat or pressure. I put it on the exhaust chamber of my snowmobile and it lasted about 15 minutes. Burnt a hole right through it.

Q: I bought this product a few days ago and and today I was finally ready to use it. Opening the container I noticed a white crust on a almost rock hard brown compound. Can I add water to bring it back?

A: Hello Supersteve, thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, water will not re-emulsify the product. The product should be loose and pliable and the consistency similar to a thick paste.
