This unit will heat 2,000 sq. ft. of your home with up to 89,000 BTUs of heat from America’s oldest sustainable resource: wood. The spacious 2.0 cubic foot firebox will accept logs up to 21 inches in length, increasing burn time and decreasing time spent refueling the stove. This stove meets the stringent requirements of the EPA Certification Guidelines. The US2000-P is mobile home approved for USA only. This is a testament to the US2000-P’s efficiency, safety, and low environmental impact. Not only does the US2000-P have a low carbon footprint but it also has an elegant, large, arched glass door with a built in air wash feature that helps keep the glass clean and the fire viewable.

Only buy on sale otherwise overpriced

Bought on sale for 900 . Does not draft very well, needs small kindling & a lot of it to get hot quick so it will burn nicely. Even with a bed of hot coals dry wood doesn’t have any easy start all the time. Works well when kept on the hotter end of burn zone. Previous stove had no issue with the same chimney. Nice size door , burner chamber is a bit shallow in depth.

We are happy to hear of the features that you do like about our stove. We will also try to explain some of the things that you don't like so much. Draft is created by the chimney and it is what drives the stove. Newer EPA certified wood stoves require substantially more draft than older wood stoves. Due to this, they do not perform the same on the same installation as previous stoves. It sounds like you don't have enough draft to establish a good burning fire.
