Q: Does the universal key fob connect effectively with any car and how do you program it to your car
10 years agoA: It connects to many vehicles (i believe 1000+) from 1996-2015. Just go into the stores and ask to view the product as the compatible makes and models are listed on the back of the package. As for the programming, it is vehicle specific but they have the instruction for every make and model that is compatible with the FOB in the package. Either way you will follow these basic steps to determine how to program the FOB. Step 1: make sure your car is compatible. Step 2: Read instructions Step 3: Find your cars activation code and write it down. (this sets the FOB's programming to that of your original key FOB's so it will work with the cars pairing process) Step 4: Find your cars pairing procedure Step 5: Pair your remote with your car using the instructions provided. Step 6: Enjoy you new working FOB

Q: Does it work with a compustar alarm with remote start?
2 years agoA: unfortunately NO. I have a 08 Corolla with compu star alarm and remote start. if I lock the car with compu start remote and open with Universal Programmable Key Remote FOB it will trigger the alarm.
