Great quality

I used them for years, and they are the best affordable winter tires. They do make some noise when driving but at this price point I wouldn't complain. Uniroyal is owned by Michelin, and are sold as second tier rather than a premium brand.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Q: Hi, I want to know if this tire (Uniroyal) in size 225/55R17 will fit my car or not? My Car is Mazda 6,2018 Signature. Original Tire Size is 225/45R19. But I want to down size for winter tires. And want to go with 17 inch tires. Thanks

2 Answers
  • A: The 17 inch tire is slightly smaller in height (26.7" vs 27" for 19" wheel) Speed reading is within 1%. 100 kmh for 19" vs 99.1 kmh for 17" Tire should fit with no rubbing against wheel well.

  • A: My tires aren't studded. If CTC can't answer look for an other dealer. Find the tires are great, smooth and quiet.

Q: My 202 Buick Envision Base tires are 225/60R18... I figure these at 245/70R15 on steels will fit... can you verify?

1 Answer
  • A: You 'should' be able to fit these. Both tires have a 28" wheel diameter so they will not affect the accuracy of your vehicle's speedometer. However the steel rim tires are wider so you may have issues with the rim making contact with you wheel arch or wheel well liner when you turn the wheel...

Q: the tires on my hyundai kona are 215/R5517 but when I look them up in CT it says the uniroyals of this size do not fit my kona. Why?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, thank you for the question. The Hyundai Kona has a tire size of 215/55R17 94V and the Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice & Snow 3 is available in that size but the speed rating is T whereas the OE rating is V. In most instances going down in speed rating from V to T is not a major concern. If you would like to override the fitment warning use the shop by tire size tool instead of the shop by vehicle function to purchase them. Feel free to also reach out to your local CT service department to order these tires SKU: 208-9925
