2 years agoA: The monitor plugs into your 12v cigarette lighter. It is off while the vehicle is in drive and only shows an image when your vehicle is put into reverse. The camera is hooked to your reverse wiring in your taillights. When the vehicle goes into reverse, the screen display turns on wirelessly.
