Best Product for Black paint. (dark grey too)

I have used this product on more than 6 of my vehicles over the last 7 or 8 years. Always an outstanding success. You have to invest in the elbow grease(effort) to go through the process, but the end result is better than anything I have tried in 35+ years of detailing my vehicles. I have used for black and slate grey cars and trucks. I have no idea why anyone would give this less than 5 stars. The either did not want to put the effort in or didn't follow the process. I traded a Honda Accord back to my local dealer once, that had 300K on it. Watched their paint guy go over the car and asked me when I got it painted, and they did a good job. When I told them it was original they spent the next 10 minutes with a paint thickness checker only to find I was telling the truth. The were astonished. All in all, if you are willing to do the work it will give the vehicle a deep, haze/swirl free finish. Highly recommend.

A bit of elbow grease needed but it is so worth it, removes small scratches and swirl's and leaves the car with a mirror like finish. My Acura is 12 years old and is not garaged, it shines like new!!

A: Depends how deep the chip is. If the primer is showing or you're through it: no. Fill then wax.

A: The cleaning and/or repair process will depend on a number of factors including what materials may have damaged the vehicle. This kit contains black tinted pre-cleaners and conditioners to assist with light scratch removal. If the patch is deeper than the clear coat, a professional repair job may be required.

A: The Black Box Kit is designed for dark grey/ charcoal and black paint finishes. It is not meant for use on other colors even if they are dark
