Q: What is the material of the mechanism at the bottom of the pepper mill? Is it steel? Where is it manufactured?

A: The mechanism is made of zinc. It can be adjusted to grind from fine to coarse. This mill is manufactured in China.

Q: Can the salt shaker be purchased separately? The base of my salt shaker broke, unfortunately. I've seen the pepper mill sold separately, but not the salt shaker. Can it be ordered in separately?
