Tiny Love Forest Deluxe Gymini Baby Gym

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a cute little playmat and useful for many months of development! I received this activity mat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it's become a staple for playtime. It was so simple to set up, and I love that the (adorable!) toys are movable and detachable for different set ups and separate play. I do have to say that with several pets in the house, it has been tough to keep the cat hair from working its way into the mat, but I suspect most parents with cats understand that universal challenge. Would highly recommend - perfect addition to any baby registry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two children and have tried my fair share of playtime activity mats. This one takes the cake for many reasons. For starters, the mats that I’ve tried previously were frustrating to assemble so they balance perfectly on each side. The Tiny Love into the forest Gymini Deluxe solved that problem for me. Instead of the standard slotted plastic piece that you have to try to get into the fabric loop this activity center features snap in ends instead, which is easier and more sturdy. To top it off instead of the stationary toy loops they feature ADJUSTABLE TOY LOOPS AND BANDS so you can adjust the toys down low for your young babies and adjust upwards as they grow. That was the winning point for me. My son is 5 months old now and when we first got this activity mat he was 4 months and he was unable to reach up and grab toys as easily but because of the flexibility and being able to adjust the bars and toys, and the fact that the toys themselves are long he was able to reach them for tons of fun. There are toys with the appealing crinkle sound we all know they love along with a toy for that teething period. The deer can be pulled down and then retracts up. The center toy is an adorable chicken that lights up and makes noise when the baby grabs onto toys or wiggles the bars for extra stimulation. You can adjust that setting to be motion activated or constant. Cleaning is easy because you can easily spot clean with soap and a wash cloth or you can easily disassemble and toss into the washer and air dry. I’m so thankful I was able to find this activity mat thanks to Stellar product testing. It’s because of them I was finally able to find a mat that actually head my babies attention. It’s important to have an activity mat that is also great for tummy time which is exactly what this mat is. There is nothing that they didn’t think of. As a tummy time mat this is perfect as well. They added two points of crinkle toys to keep them occupied as well as a mirror that you can easily adjust so they can spend time for self discovery. My son loves to play with the crinkle leaf while he watches himself in the mirror. This is truly the most perfect activity/tummy time mat I’ve found. It holds the attention of my baby while I am able to get laundry or dishes done or even just a little bit of me time and he’s able to get some needed tummy time. I will also use this mat for my next baby as well. Get this activity mat. You will not regret it.

Setup was simple and easy compared to other play mat’s I had purchased. There are multiple toys you hang on the bars which I loved that there was a variety and my son enjoys them all but his favorite is definitely the crinkle badger and looking at the chicken light up. This mat has by far made tummy time so much easier and last longer because I can adjust the bars so he can still look at and reach all of the toys. And the best part overall is when my little guy spits up or has an occasional leak I can just pop it in the washer for an easy and convenient clean. If you are in the market I definitely recommend purchasing this play mat or adding it to your registry!

Prior to receiving this mat, we already had a tummy time mat that we used every day that had its drawbacks and things I wish could have been improved. Then, in walked this mat that solved all the issues. My favorite things from the mom point of view is the adjustability and ease to clean. I love that the arches can adjust from one side to the other to promote rolling and side play. This is so unique and adds to the learning fun for my little one. I also love the ease as to which it can be cleaned. It can be easily thrown in the washer and dries beautifully. The music that is played isn't annoying and plays for just the right amount of time to keep my little one interested but not hyper-focused. My little one loves the mirror. I love how it doesn't just dangle from the top of the mat but can be moved around and propped onto the floor so it can be used easily. The other toys are so interactive and my little one loves the variety of sounds and textures when playing with them. The mat was a breeze to set up and disassemble for cleaning. The storage may be more of an issues in the future because the arches don't fold down but not an issues for now. My only issue with the mat is more of a personal preference than an actual issue with the product. I personally prefer not the use blinking or flashing toys at this stage of development so the fact the bird does flash when it plays music was a bit of a drawback for me but not a deal breaker. Again, personal preference over anything else. Overall, I love this mat and we use it every day for at least 30 minutes. It is such an easy and fun way to get in the dreaded tummy time and to give my little one some variety to his day. Would definitely recommend!

We washed the mat and hanging toys before we assembled the gym, and they came out of the laundry perfectly. I like that the mat is soft, but easy to wipe clean; very important for a baby who spits up a lot! With bright, high-contrast colors and “crinkly” pieces throughout, every part of the gym is engaging. Even my toddler likes playing with it! The feature that I most appreciate is the adjustable hooks for the hanging toys. (When my eldest was a baby, we had a different activity gym with fixed hooks, and it bothered me that we could not reposition the toys, especially as she explored the gym in new positions.) The only con is that we have had a difficult time attaching the singing bird to the top of the gym. For now, we are just laying it on the mat next to baby. Overall, I highly recommend the Into the Forest Gymini Deluxe, and I’m looking forward to watching my baby enjoy it in new ways as she learns and grows.
