Bluetooth app is on APKPure, works well, tips

Bluetooth app is on APKPure and is called Fireplace Remote, works well about 6 feet from unit. The IR remote that comes with the unit seems flimsy. Other than the included remote, the rest of the firebox and cabinet is of decent quality. The buttons on the firebox do work well but are less easy to use than the bluetooth remote. The shelf space will fit a long soundbar because the vertical support is recessed by about 4 inches. I added some vertical 1x3 wood as reinforcement in the back before installing the rear cover since my plasma tv is heavy in the middle, added felt pads to underside

Some problems but it’s nice overall

Took about 5 hours to put together myself except for some help on the cabinet doors. Had to leave the front screws out of the hinges on the doors or else wouldn’t line up right to close. It looks nice once all put together with lots of space for stuff. My 65inch tv fits nicely on it with a little space left over. The flame effect looks good & I like the options but it doesn’t flow all the time. Sometimes the flame effect is stationary. Called Canadian Tire & told I could exchange because only had it a couple weeks. Like the temperature control & all the options available with the log brightness, flame colour choices & brightness. Also like having a remote. I found the app does not work but the remote & the controls on fireplace itself work just fine. Would recommend

Q: Is this made out of real wood or is it particleboard?

A: The body of the fireplace is particleboard, the doors with glass are wood. It has started to sag a bit in the middle. We have a large TV that is within the recommended size. I would have liked a bit larger fire box, but it works and looks fine.

A: I don't know exactly what this component weighs, but I was able to lift it no problem while assembling. I would assume if it came in several pieces, it could be disassembled.
