Q: Does this kill Box Elder bugs? I have a SEVERE infestation and need an effective concentrate. I refuse to use expensive pest control companies. Can this be used in a backpack sprayer? Thanks

A: Do NOT spray this. It's a nerve agent and can and will harm you. Find another way to apply it if just pouring it into water where mosquito larvae exist. I use an ice cream pail to pour it directly onto ant hills. They're gone in a day. Do NOT spray Malathion unless you have a significant respirator and there is no one around. I wouldn't spray it even with a respirator until the dead of night.

Q: Does this product kill mosquitoes and their larvae that grow in wet grass and vegetable gardens. Tired of going out to pick veggies and get bit by the little tiddlers hiding in there.

A: I wouldn't use Malathion on plants you intend to consume. It's a nerve agent and it's very efficient at that.

A: I had cockroaches for a while, so I bought several insecticides and did a lot of reading. Malathion was said to be very effective, but even though the bottle is still plastic wrapped, sealed and enclosed in a cupboard I can still smell wafts of what smells like rotten food/diesel. I don't think it's practical to use it indoors. You need to get something that is "non-repellent", so bugs can't sense it, and avoid it. I was lucky to get Bayer Temprid FX from down south. A total of about 4ml total mixed into spray bottles, and sprayed along baseboards, bathroom cabinets, fridge, and stove eliminated every bug in my apartment. I just sprayed key areas several times, literally using just the total of 4ml for the whole job. Spray your garbage can and fruit flies disappear as well. It's a miracle if you can get it. You don't need much. But you could get a bottle of malathion as well, just to have on hand because everything that seems to works gets banned or restricted. Indoor bed bug type sprays will kill most every insect.
