Supercycle Bike Round Spoke Wrench

The spoke wrench fit the poke answer was easy to use.

Have a Raleigh bike that needed the rims trued, bought this tool and used size 15. Job done, very satisfied.

Works well to tighten or loosen spokes. From experience every rim I've used this on is size 14. Although, I found the wrench to be a little loose; nevertheless the looseness makes it easier to put around and remove from the nipple.

Need a spoke wrench and decide to give it a try. It works. 14 fit my bike spoke perfect. Don't know how good of the quality but I can do the wheel turing easily now.

I've needed to true a couple of wheels for a long time and was always looking out for a spoke wrench. The couple of wrenches I already had left over from a past career of building wheels didn't fit. Was surprised to see it in Canadian Tire so I picked it up. With 6 sizes one of them must fit my spoke nipples, right? Nope. The only slot that comes close will strip the nipple on the first turn, it is WAY too loose. I tried it on 4 completely different bikes I have in the house, same deal. I'm sure I could take it to Canadian Tire and it wouldn't fit any of their bikes in stock either. The fact that it says it fits spoke gauges 10 through 15 on the packaging should be a clue this is useless. You don't fit wrenches to spoke gauges, you fit them to spoke nipple sizes, of which apparently there are only 3 common sizes. Yet a wrench with 6 slots can't fit any spoke nipple I've found. Unless mine is defective, this product should not be stocked. Just want to warn others. I'd return mine out of anger alone but not sure I even bothered to keep the receipt.
