Good product and bad manual

Overall, this fender may seem narrow for a mountain bike, but it works perfectly. The manual is somewhat misleading, so follow these steps to adjust the installation order and method.
First, the front fender installation is simple. Note that you should install it "from back to front" to avoid alignment issues caused by the curved bracket. Remember to install the locating pin at the highest position (you can place a support between the fender and the tire during installation).
Second, the rear fender installation involves the following steps:
1. Determine the thickness of the steel tube under the seat and replace it with a matching plastic clip.
2. Install the locating pin in reverse. Although the clip on the locating pin helps secure it to the bracket, it also limits the maximum position where the pin can be installed. Therefore, prioritize functionality over convenience.
3. Place the fender on the tire from back to front, attaching the plastic clip at the front of the fender to the steel tube under the seat.
4. Use two semi-circular plastic spacers to install the locating pin onto the steel tube. Remember to install the locating pin at the highest position (you can place a support between the fender and the tire during installation).

Très décevant

C’est écrit que c’est un garde boue universel, pourtant ça ne fonctionne pas avec mon vélo qui a des roues 700x38. Je voulais les retourner car le produit est en parfaite condition, mais les retours ne sont pas acceptés car il est déballé. Le seul emballage consiste à un morceau de carton accroché au garde boue. Je ne recommande pas du tout car ce n’est pas un fit universel.

Q: Will this fit a 29” bike more specifically SuperCycle Outlook 29”

A: No this fender won’t fit the Outlook 29” bike, as the tires on this bike are 2.1” wide. This fender fits best on 700C / 29” tires up to 38C / 1.5” width. Also, please note there are 2 sizes of clamps included with this rear fender (fits 28-32 mm & 32-36 mm seat tubes). The seat tube clamp is length adjustable up to 25 mm.
