We are disappointed and we lost thousand of dollars. Also too many items are missing , like panel glass, Washer. I am not recommending this to anyone

USELESS RUBBISH!

USELESS! First storm we had with gusty winds and pieces of the shed ended up all over the neighbours yards! It was put together correctly by a contractor. Surprise surprise.....conveniently not warranty covered if damaged by "strong winds"! 🤦‍♀️🤬

No, I do not recommend this product.

Installing the roof sucks.

Unless you drive a cargo van, this item requires delivery. It's a HUGE box. It's also super heavy. Over 300 lb. I needed some moving dollies and some lifting straps to move it around myself. Built it on a level wood base. Everything lined up well, and was basically a one-person job until it came time to put together the roof. There's a step that requires you to screw upward into the roof to secure it, but there is no structure in place to keep the roof from lifting as you insert the screws. Other than that step, installation was smooth and straightforward. The interior has these neat bolt ports so that you can secure stuff to the resin shed without puncturing the resin. They're called Suncast EZ bolts or something. I ended up designing and 3D printing a bolt that would hold in 2x4s to the sides so that I could frame the interior to make cubbies.

Read the instructions carefully!

Make sure you read the instructions very carefully and study the pictures. I found some instructions vague and hard to follow. Also ensure your base is perfectly level. Much easier with two people. It took us several hours to put together

Q: We may have to move the shed after installing it, how easy is it to take apart so that it can be reassembled?

6 Answers
  • A: Thanks to everyone for the answers. Based on the feedback, and the fact that we may only have to move it once in a couple of years, we went ahead and bought it.  It went together quite easily and fully meets our expectations.

Q: Can it be installed on the grass?

3 Answers
  • A: I removed the grass, dug down about 8 inches, filled in with 1.5 yards of gravel, levelled it out, covered that with 18x24 patio stones (levelled) and built up from there.

Q: Is the shed rodent proof at all? Wondering if rats can get in?

3 Answers
  • A: I put my shed on a well constructed foundation, secured the shed floor to the foundation then put silicone caulking on the exterior of the shed where the walls meet the floor/foundation. I've not had any rodent problem since I purchased the shed.

Q: What is the exact smallest size of platform do i need to build to install this shed on?

2 Answers
  • A: 84 x 84 inches is minimum. Also note the roof has a 2 inch overhang on the left and right as well as a 3/4 inch on the rear if you are planning to put it up against a wall or fence.

Q: Are hinges plastic or metal for the doors?

2 Answers
  • A: Yes the door hinges are metal. But be cautious on windy days if the door is open. Other points: It is definitely a 2-person job to assemble. The final roof panel assembly is challenging if the structure is just a fraction of a millimetre off. We had to temporarily loosen the inside roof braces to allow a bit of shifting. We added flat metal brackets on the upper surface of the roof panels, right at the lower edge to hold it in line. Finally, if applicable, remove snow from the roof with a snow rake. The shed not designed for any snow/ice load.
