Q: My driveway has a concrete slab that has settled and I’d like to use this to even out the ridge that formed to make it level again. Would this work well for that?

A: It is difficult to determine if this is suitable without seeing the area described. If you are looking to build up the area between your asphalt driveway and concrete garage opening then we would suggest using an asphalt based product like depression filler. Concrete patch is manufactured to repair broken concrete surfaces.

Q: Is this good for repair chips(2-3 inches in size) on outdoor concrete stairs ?

  • A: It depends on the depth. I used it to repair outside of basement where parging and concrete underneath had chipped off and it worked well for that. Product was easy to apply.  However I also patched large cracks in garage pad tat were 2” + deep and this did not go as well. The grey does not match sidewalk, steps or garage pad as it’s darker with more blue. It has started to crack on the garage pad repair. I did however fill in more depth at a time than the instructions indicated so this may have been my issue. However the lack of color match would make me not try again.

  • A: I didn’t paint over it but I’m sure that you can. When it dried it was just like the cement surrounding it.
