Bought this to run my laptop and phone charger as I'm a field medic in the oil patch. This junk didn't even last a week and now it trips off just sitting there, nothing even plugged in. Don't waste your money.

A: The 500W power inverter has no battery and cannot charge. It is designed to be connected to a 12V battery or connected to the 12V accessory outlet in a vehicle. It must be connected to a charged 12V system to output power.
