Big Cool Off

I love that I can bring this to whatever room needs cooling off. At night, it goes in the bedroom. During the day, the livingroom. It really does cool off the room nicely.

Design flaw...

Purchased this fan and was relatively please with it until I tried the oscillation mode. When the fan reaches the left limit it creaks like an old wood floor. I took it back and got a replacement only to find the exact same annoying creak only worse than the last one. I replaced that one with a Rowenta stand fan and now am completely happy...the Rowenta is much better built and very very quiet.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: is the remote infrared also, does the remote have one switch for power on and another for speeds or one switch for both

A: Yes the remote control is infrared. The “on/off” control is separate from the fan speed control. They are independent of each other.
