I purchased an adult one size and I was hoping it would help keep water out of my ears when I swam on my back. It reduced the water leakage into my ears but I was hoping for better. Maybe it will loosen up as I use it and give me more protection.

Q: Is this cap fits kids too .. for 6 year old ? or only for adults?

A: It will possibly be a little loose, as our elastomerics are for comfort they do not fit as tightly as regular silicone.

A: This cap is elastomeric, so it’s good for long hair. There is a ribbed textured on the inside of the cap that stays in place without tearing your hair out.

Q: Does it keep your hair dry or chlorine free? Sounds like a dumb question, but I have dyed hair and cannot get chlorine on my hair. Does this cap prevent all chlorine from getting on hair?

A: The purpose of a swim cap is to keep hair out of the swimmer’s face and to increase hydrodynamics. They are not meant to keep hair dry or to protect hair from chlorine. This silicone cap will offer some protection and is the best choice, but there is no cap that will protect entirely from chlorine or keep hair perfectly dry.
