If you care about how your vehicle looks...

This product will make your vehicle stand out from the crowd - if you are willing to put in the time. The application was actually easier and more forgiving than I expected and the results are brilliant! The longevity remains to be seen as I just applied it yesterday. This is a relatively inexpensive alternative to having a shop do it. That being said, because of the work involved, some might rightfully employ a shop to do this.

LITTLE INFORMATION HERE

I just want to clarify something about SI02 coating, it takes way much more preparation than just what they give you in the specific kit. To achieve a perfect finish your paint need to be decontaminated and also corrected ( polished ). Of course you can apply it the easy way without preparing it the correct way but dont expect having a perfect flawless finish. Those coating were made to make a good protective layer on your car hard as ceramic and also have an awesome water beading on your car so that way you dont need to wash your car that often just a quick rince or a foam wash with a GOOD soap THAT DOESNT STRIP WAXES SEALANT OR COATING make sure YOU READ YOUR SOAP LABEL ( if you want a really good ceramic coating i mean a real one that last over years try out OPTIMUM

Great paint protection product.

Looking at the kit which contains 3 different cans of product, you can tell it is meant for those who are serious about protecting paint and care about detailing their car. So my review is based on that, so if you are looking for a "1 step quick and easy apply" type of product it is not for you. Make sure you have washed your car before applying and you will not be disappointed. I would only buy this product on sale though, reason being I do not think it is worth the regular retail price, because for a bit more you could pay for a professional coat.

Excellent Shine

The Sonax kit was easy to use, with detailed instructions. My car is 12 years old, and this product really brought out the shine and made it look new again. I find that I am not having to wash my car as often and it continues to look amazing. The process was a little time consuming, but that is to be expected, to have a job well done. I am sure this product would save a lot of money for a DIY and still gives amazing results. I would recommend this to friends for sure.

Shine divine

Took a good amount of time to clean and prepare my car for this kit to be applied and was fairly extensive applying the kit. Overall the application process wasn't difficult, it would definitely be beneficial to have several good quality microfiber clothes handy, but it was a lengthy process. The look and shine after this application has made a 10 year old car look quite good, despite the age and natural fade to the paint colour. It's only been a few days and I've not washed the car yet but so far it's rained a few times and the water is just beading off and there's very little dirt accumulation. Would definitely recommend this product as it's clearly a good protective coating and I hope it lasts.

Q: Can this be used on a snowmobile exhaust system?

A: SONAX Ceramic Coating Kit was not designed for the high temperatures involved with an exhaust system. Our Ceramic Coating kit is formulated to provide long term protection and excellent hydrophobic properties to a vehicles painted and plastic surfaces
