Fits but two connectors take up too much room

The connector for my Honda Odyssey was correct and it made hooking up the aftermarket stereo simple as I could make all the wiring connections on a workbench, but having two plastic connectors made it difficult to fit it all in behind the dashboard once the stereo was all hooked up.

bought it for my kids 2006 crv to install a boss 2 din radio , didn't need the bigger part of the harness so i cut it off, figured out the wires and soldered them together, worked great.

Q: Why are there so connectors? Is it either or depending on the vehicle? Do I just leave the the unused connector and tuck it away?

A: The EHA28F (0350060P) is a multi harness, and it covers a wide range of vehicles. You'll only use one connector, and the connector you use depends on the vehicle you have. The unused connector can be tucked away or taped up.

A: The HA10B would be the correct harness for the 2008 Civic as long as the vehicle is not factory amplified. If the vehicle is factory amplified, then the recommended wire harness would be the HA13B.
