Goes together well if you take your time. I can see why people didn't like the instructions. great deal on sale and a nice piece of furniture.

Environ 2 heures à monter. Le plan principal est en anglais avec traduction française ( sans image ) à la fin du guide. Le Fini du meuble est sensible aux éraflures et à première vue, toute poussière s'y colle facilement. De plus, ç'eut été préférable de mettre un tiroir en haut et non une porte.

Assembly was straightforward. As long as you take your time, carefully read the instructions along with closely looking at the assembly pictures, everything does fit together nicely. It will take several hours to assemble. Some have commented about the bottom drawer not fitting due to placement of drill holes. After a little trial and error (I had the same problem) I realized that this is caused when you install the drawer rollers upside down. If you install the rollers exactly as shown in the assembly picture on page 22 of the instructions, with the elbow side of the rollers on the top (not the bottom), the drill holes are in the correct location. This is not explained in the text, but shown in the picture. You need to look closely at the angle of the roller. You also need to be careful not to over tighten the gold color screws that are used with the rollers. The wood is soft, and you can easily cause the screw to become loose. Once everything is put together, it is a nice little desk especially when purchased on sale. The quality is reasonable. I'd recommend it if you want something not expensive to serve the purpose.

This desk has a nice colour and is of a good size for a condo. Note that it requires a no2 head screwdriver and hammer. Most of the assembly was straightforward and I took it slowly because it is detailed and there are a lot of parts (It took me about 4 hours, moving slowly and double-checking everything). At the end however, my bottom drawer rollers were about 1 inch too high and so my drawer couldn't close. I re-read the instructions, thought about if I had put something together incorrectly, and got a second opinion. But nope, it was just the drill holes were too high! (This has also been noted in other reviews below). Unfortunately this means I'll have to drill the holes myself and reassemble the roller system. This was disappointing after all the work I've already put into it.
