Stoneffects creates an attractive, decorative quartz finish which is highly durable and impact resistant withstanding the rigours of harsh weather and daily wear and tear. Stoneffects has the added benefit of creating a non-slip surface that is flexible and highly resistant to abrasion and impact.

J'utilise ce produit depuis maintenant quelques année pour mon perron de façade de maison. C'est un produit qui me convient pour chez moi. Belle finition, bonne durabilité, beau look, mais ne s'étend pas bien, application difficile et très dispendieux à l'achat.

We purchased one can to do some touch ups to our deck. The previous owners had covered the entire 30 ft. x 10 ft. area. This coating actually worked very well to our surprise. It is a bit tricky to apply given how thick it is but with a little practice and patience, it went down nicely. Of course we just wish that it was a bit more affordable. We only used one can but it can be pricey if you need more which is usually the case.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I noticed that mostly it's used for horizontal surfaces such as patios, porches, garage floors, etc. How about vertical surfaces?I want to apply it in front of my facade (next to garage door) on old stucco wall( 2.5x4ft). If so, how to apply it?

A: Hi Joseph, Our Stoneffects Quartz Stone Coating was designed for bare concrete and we do not recommend it for stucco. We hope this new information is helpful.

Q: The color I got for my patio is too light. Can it be painted?

A: Hi Lulu, Our Stoneffects Decorative Quartz Stone Coating is meant to be the final coat and we have not tested other brands of paint over top. If you would still like to try repainting overtop, make sure to test on a small area first. We recommend a water-based coating as well.
