This iron replaces a T-Fal. What a difference! Prodigious amounts of steam and the blast steam gets the stubborn creases out. I wish the cord was a couple feet longer.

I like the size of the iron: it's lighter, gets into corners more easily. It does not seem to heat up as much as my last Rowenta. I'm still deciding on the steam function.

Q: Just wondering if this Rowenta is not like my Rowenta Steamforce that it does Not steam anymore just after 2 mos. of purchased?

A: I've had mine for about a year and a half. I have a side hobby where I sew everyday and am using my iron about 4-6 hours a day - with steam and it still works. Mind you with any iron, and Rowenta is no exception, if you are putting tap water in an iron you need to de-scale it on a regular basis because 99% of the time its the calcium build up that ruins an iron not a faulty iron.
