    Splatters ruined clothes

This product is too awkward to pour smoothly. It splattered so many of my clothes that not have small bleached out dots on them. I thought this would be easier to use than pucks, but the damage to my clothes wasn't worth it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: is this a good replacement for cyanuric acid

    2 Answers
    • A: Late but ..... Always true Cyanuric Acid is the stabilizer you add to outdoor pools to protect it from the sun. This chlorine has no stabilizer added. Any "Stabilized" Chlorine will say so on the label. If using stabilized chlorine be aware that you can elevate levels far above "useful" and into "detrimental". Too high a stabilizer level will cripple your chlorines potential to do its job.

Q: Pool is cloudy? My levels on my test strips are all reading ok however my pool is cloudy and we have a very fine white powder all over the bottom on the pool. Any suggestions?

    1 Answer
    • A: According to the vendor, they don’t think it is a problem caused by using the Purox product. Could be something else in the water. They suggest you use “ALUM”, which can be purchased at any pool supply place which should solve the problem.
