Got this today, took off the old faucet and simply cleaned the copper pipe and slipped it on and tighten up the Allen key to secure. She works well.

Good quality product..easy to install

Good product.. easy to install.. I cleaned the oxide off the existing copper pipe with som sandpaper and applied some petroleum gel on in before sliding on the faucet. You may need to back out the set screw a bit first so it can be slipped over the existing pipe. Once installed as far as it will go, securely tighten the set screw with the supplied Allen key . Then caulk the gap between the tub and the end of the faucet, but leave a gap in the caulking at the bottom of the faucet to allow any water that may leak from the faucet to escape .

It was brand new and when I installed it and pulled the diverter, it leaked more than the one I was replacing. Returned the same day.

A: The brand of the original spout shouldn’t matter. These replacement ones are pretty universal, though there are a couple of different styles. If you unscrew the old one it should be pretty easy to compare by eye which replacement is the right one for you.
