Bulb works fine - not warm enough

The tube I installed worked fine. The main thing about these is their duration, but I can't comment on that. This was the warmest/softest incandescent at Can Tire (of this form factor) but it wasn't as soft/warm as the one I was replacing. We've gotten used to it, but it is still a little industrial. One disappointment is that CanTire couldn't recycle my old bulb. I found out yesterday that RONA (Tilicum) can.

These are the thin-type of fluorescent tubes

I was surprised to find these tubes were thinner than the ones I was replacing and required a different kind of ballast. I wish the words "thin-type tubes" were included in the advertising. Saying 'T8' does not mean anything to many of us. Live and learn!
